ITINERARY
Day 1
Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your location in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic hot lunch along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll descend 2,000 feet into the crater in a 4x4 vehicle to explore one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife havens. After a full day of game viewing, you’ll ascend the crater walls and head to your lodge, set on the crater rim, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Often referred to as "Africa’s Eden" and the "8th Natural Wonder of the World," the Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see destination in Tanzania. Formed over 2.5 million years ago by the collapse of a volcanic mountain, the crater spans 22.5 km across and is surrounded by steep 600-meter-high walls. Home to over 30,000 animals, including the Big Five and a wide variety of bird species, the crater’s rich ecosystem remains thriving year-round thanks to its permanent water sources. The views—both from the rim and within the caldera—are simply breathtaking.

Serengeti is famous for its rich diversity of wildlife, especially the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The park is home to over 3,000 lions, the largest population in Africa, thanks to the abundance of prey. Leopards are also common, particularly in the Seronera region, while elephants can be spotted roaming across the plains. With its wide open savannahs and thriving ecosystem, the Serengeti promises an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters and stunning natural beauty.

The Wagakuria area is home to resident animals year-round, including a lion pride of up to 30 individuals. But from July to October, this region comes alive as the Great Migration reaches the Mara River—a prime location to witness the dramatic river crossings.

The Kogatende area is especially active during this time, with herds of wildebeest and zebras frequently crossing back and forth over the river in search of fresh grazing. Each day brings new sightings, as thousands of animals brave the waters teeming with crocodiles. After a thrilling day of game viewing, return to camp in the evening to relax by the bonfire, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. This is one of the best opportunities to witness nature’s most dramatic wildlife event up close.
