I had an incredible experience in the company of my guide Sixbeth. A professional, knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging guide. It was an extraordinary experience to climb Kilimanjaro via the Machame route. His team of porters were encouraging and congratulated me at every step. Comfortable and large tent, generous meals and even hot water almost every day to clean myself up a bit. I was treated like royalty. Really good! Solo Tanzania Safari - 10/10

Extraordinary Kilimanjaro + Safari
We trusted Prime Kili to organize 2/3 of our stay in Tanzania: Kilimanjaro climb + Safari. We were delighted with our choice: - For the Kili climb, the team that accompanied us was very kind, always smiling, and always attentive to giving us a boost during the hikes. The guides Bryson and Vicente gave us many explanations about the Swahili language, the mountain, and Tanzanian customs. We managed to reach the summit thanks to the care of the whole team: porters, guides, and cooks. Thanks to Richard for all the (very hearty) delicious meals he concocted for us. - For the camping safari, the experience proved to be incredible. Sleeping close to nature, hearing the animals (lions, elephants, hyenas,...) passing between the tents was unique. Elie, our lynx-eyed guide, and Joël our cook, took great care of us throughout the week. We felt right at home. An Exceptional Crew From Day One: From the moment we arrived, the porters and guides set the tone with a warm welcome of song and celebration that immediately eased any nerves about the trek ahead. Our lead guides, Jackson and Lazaro, were knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful in their acclimatization recommendations, adjusting pace and approach to keep both my father and me feeling strong throughout. Their expertise in local flora, fauna, and Tanzanian culture added a richness to the experience that went well beyond simply getting us to the summit. Professional, Organized, and Safe: Our camp setup was impressively efficient and well-organized each day before we even reached the camps. Tents were clean and spacious, and our chef Cedrick consistently delivered meals that were genuinely excellent given the altitude and conditions. Daily health check-ins ensured we were acclimatizing appropriately, and the team carried emergency medical equipment including supplemental oxygen, something that gave me real peace of mind as a physician. Safety and professionalism were clearly a priority at every stage. A Team That Celebrated With Us: What I'll remember most is how warm and human the entire team was. Guides and porters checked in on us throughout each day's trek and in camp, always with smiles and genuine enthusiasm. After we reached Uhuru Peak, the crew celebrated with us as if it were their own accomplishment. That shared moment made me feel less like a client and more like part of a family. Outstanding Leadership and Logistics: Jonas deserves special recognition. Before the trip, he was highly responsive and helped answer every logistical question promptly. On the ground, he ran a tight, professional operation. Beyond the climb itself, he organized excursions that genuinely elevated the overall Tanzania experience: a visit to Ngare Ndare (Norro) Waterfalls, a tour of Moshi Town, an immersive local coffee-making demonstration, and a Maasai village visit. These add-ons were thoughtfully curated and added exceptional value to an already strong package. Bottom Line: Prime Kilimanjaro delivers on every dimension that matters: safety, expertise, organization, and genuine human connection. Unforgettable Lemosho experience – with the Rafikis of Prime Kili We left between 2 friends to do this trek via Lemosho, and the experience was just amazing. Even before the departure, Jonas was very present, attentive and particularly accommodating for the whole organization. It immediately put us in confidence. Throughout the trek, the organization was impeccable. Jonas surrounds himself with an extremely caring, professional and humane team, which makes the adventure even stronger. A small point of attention: if, like us, you book 8 days of trek but you finally realize it in 7 days (on the advice of Jonas and guides), remember to clarify in advance the conditions concerning the last night. We had to pay for an extra night at the hotel even though we had paid for the 8 days. This remains a detail that can be easily fixed with better communication from the start, but it’s good to know. Thanks to the energy and motivation of the team, we managed to make the ascent in 7 days instead of 8. All week, we were carried away by their smile, their good mood and their strength. Asante sana to Vicent, Mzungu, Alex, Hassan, Elly, G, Chugaa and Saria! A huge thank you also to Richard, the best cook, who regaled us every day with a varied and delicious cuisine. We never lacked energy! And finally, asante sana to our great guides Lazaro and David. They believed in us from beginning to end. The days on Lemosho were filled with sharing, laughter, good humor and learning. During the final climb, they knew how to motivate us and reassure us that we reached the summit “pole pole”, but together. Their knowledge of Tanzanian flora, fauna and culture brings a real human and cultural dimension to the trek. The week ended with a lot of emotion: one last shared meal, songs and dances all together, always with those smiles and energy that accompanied us throughout the adventure. We left with friends with Prime Kili for the ascent of Kilimanjaro via Lemosho in 8 days, and this experience will remain unforgettable. From the first exchanges, we appreciated the responsiveness and availability of Jonas. When we arrived in Tanzania, everything went perfectly: transfer on time, personalized support by Jonas himself (bank, rental shop for missing equipment, purchase of SIM card, supermarket, etc.). The hotel booked by Prime Kili was very clean and comfortable. The next day, we found the team that accompanied us: 7 porters, 1 cook and 2 guides for 2 people. We spent 6 extraordinary days with an exceptional team. Everyone kept smiling in all circumstances, even in the rain and cold, which contributed greatly to our success. The food was excellent, and we were impressed by the quality of service, so far from any civilization. The guides had a perfect knowledge of the mountain and terrain, which made us feel safe every step of the way. Thanks to them, we also learned a lot about Tanzania. Also, during the trek, as we were moving fast, we were offered to double a stage in order to finish in 7 days instead of 8. The extra hotel night and breakfast were then taken care of by the agency. Nothing was missing during our stay, everything was really well organized. A huge thank you to the whole team for their commitment, seriousness and sincerity of shared moments. Prime Kili is a human-sized, serious, responsive and professional agency that we recommend with our eyes closed. However, we would like to make a few important clarifications to help future guests prepare for their stay. It is essential to exchange clearly on the practicalities beforehand to avoid any surprises. We had made a deposit before departure thinking of paying the balance on site, without knowing that the ATM is capped at 400,000 shillings, which complicates the withdrawals. In addition, tip codes were only provided once on site: about $20/day per guide, $15/day for the cook and $8-12/day per porter, representing a significant budget. These tips are obviously well deserved, and we gave them with great pleasure, but we would have liked to be informed of these amounts in advance. Extraordinary week with the Prime Kilimanjaro team
What an experience! In addition to the beauty of the mountain scenery, the Jackson and Francis guides were wonderful, always there for us! The logistics of the trek were perfect, the tent was clean and comfortable for two with separation in the middle, the food was top (Richard is a very good cook) , and the rest of the team did everything to make everything go well. I highly recommend this agency for those who want to climb Kilimanjaro in a well organized way with guides listening. Incredible climb experience
We had an incredible Kilimandjaro climb with prime Kilimandjaro. The guides, Jackson and Francis, were very careful about how our body react to the altitude, so we felt very safe with them. The cook chef Richard was vert surprising and skilled. All the porters were very human, attentive, and all created a great atmosphere !
